Aerospace parts are thin-walled, lightweight and made from difficult materials. Holding rigidity and controlling thermal distortion are the decisive factors, and that is where our high-speed machining solutions fit.

A 7075 aluminium integral frame with webs and ribs down to 1.5 mm. High-speed machining centres with rigid spindles and generous coolant keep cutting heat from distorting the part, so the profile stays within tolerance.

Titanium and superalloy blades. The airfoil is a free-form surface and the root is a fir-tree form; a 5-axis machining centre completes both in one setup, with on-machine probing for compensation.

High-strength titanium bolts and screws. Threads are rolled for fatigue strength and head-to-shank coaxiality is critical, so they are turned on CNC lathes with bar feeders to keep batches consistent.
